DN Partners partnered with a minority sponsor, Greenleaf Ridge LLC who organized a minority investment group PrimeCo Venture Partners-Greenleaf LLC which invested in PrimeCo Wireless Communications, Inc. (“PrimeCo”), a wireless services provider in the Midwest, providing personal communications services in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Exit:  The company met financial expectations and was sold approximately six months after the acquisition.  PrimeCo was sold to a larger competitor (US Cellular) in May 2002 and the transaction closed in August 2002 achieving its investment goal of a strategic sale in nine months.
